I need a roman based background or at least vertical roman columns, for the website we're creating for school. Where's a good place to find them?

you could try        www.sierra-online.co.uk and look at the piccys for caesar-4

But if u want columns then mebee you should be looking for a roman or greek site - try entering a search usind words such as coliseum , roman or greek god names and see if u can hit a tourist site

I like those bgs but none of them are roman based...>_>...and I would've designed my own columns Sara but this is a fake website for school and I don't really want to waste that much time on the columns because at the end of the day if I spent like an hour on the column that'll my grade because my teacher is retarded and would only look at how many more links I made and how many new lines of html there are.

Well, I dont know what to tell you. Are you looking for actual backgrounds for the main page? or table backgrounds? a lot depends on that. Making your own does not have to take a long time. So im not sure what you realy want. Those are ideas for you to go by, and can do a search for more if you like.  I know you can find them if you need dear.

About the only thing i can sugest is to do a search for Vertical Lines/gif's ANd backgrounds. There are a lot out there. Most of the ones I have I make, so its realy hard for me to give you something specific dear. Im sorry.. but I know you will do well. you will have to take a ss of your work when you are done and give us a pic to see what it looks like when you are done!
