Is it worth getting Oblivion for the PS3? I never really got into Morrowwind cause it's not set up really well...

I myself dont realy like the set up for Morrowind on the ps.. but i LOVE it on PC..  If you are getting Oblivion, or any other TES game, I would sugest that you get it for PC. There is just more you can do, mods you can add (more then the PS3.. and the graphics are 100x's better... 1000's tiems if you count in the mods that many of us have worked on and or use.

Now, I know Niq perfers Morrowind on the PS, but I think that is because that is what she started with, is used to and is comfortable with it. Since most of the games I play I perfer the PC, we have our differences.

It is realy up to what one perfers more and their own taists.

Try it out and see, cant hurt if you get the game from Gamespot or somethig like that where you can trade it in with in a month for the pc version.. or vice versa.

Peace,
Sarrene'

Alot of it depends on if you want (user made) mods or not.

Although it also depends on the pc you have, i wouldnt even bother trying on a pc if you have less than the recomended specs for it. Unless you like running at 10fps.

If your pc is able to handle it, than definitly get the pc version.

If not, get the ps3 version as it will be just as good as the 360 and the 360 version runs great at max graphics. Plus a controller is sometimes easier to use for manuvering, although a bit more difficult for fine manipulation.

Either way its worth getting, not as good as morrowind overall, but still good.

I don't think my comp can handle Oblivion, hence why I asked about the PS3 version. And there was no PS or PS2 version of Morrowwind to my knowledge, only XBOX.

Not sure realy.. I thought there was. I know XBox for sure though.. ah well, i know it was one of those lol

What specs are you running for your system? I can let you know if it can handle the PC version or not.

  • CPU
  • Mem (type and mhz)
  • Vid card

That is realy all that depends on it. Let me know, and i can post the links up for the fixes for slower systems to make the game run better. We also did a lot of mods that help reduce the polys and increase frame rate as well.
