Yes and it really is crap. I know that you have been here much longer than I have, I have run out of slots, so I know that you have, I made new toon on Guinever server. Oh well maybe enough will moan and groan till they give us the two slots.

I told you not to expect those slots, then again i did say it was beta too. I dont know. I just knwo I was not happy with it at all. I gave t a chance in the beta, but then uninstalled it once they lifted the NDA.
I am not sure what to do, I just know that I was not happy with the expansion, nor with the changes they have made over the last few months or so.
Plus.. Dont you like that EA GAMES spash screen I told you about? /sarcasim

NO I hate the EA screen BUt its not as intrusive <sp?> as it could be.... but we have to live with it. I was disappointed in the slots too, another knife for the long time loyal players who have filled up there slots.

Seems kind of sad this is the reply that they gave everyone that was complaining. Its also unfair. To claim that less then 5% of the population has all their slots full... Errr.. I dont want to leave my friends and family. Im staying where I have firends to play with, to share the game with. If I hd purchessed this, I would be throwing a fit. Oh, wait, i am in a ways still.
And no Kevin, they aught to take into account the clusters and the guild/friends issue. In all honesty.. i dont believe it. Not one word she said. It sounds like they had to make apush to releace it on time, and did not do anything about it. Expecialy since they (Mythic devs) had told the beta testers just a few days befor the y lifted the NDA that there were still plans to add in those extra slots. This is another reasion why so many are upset. I just dont believe a word of it! I think it is a poor excuse to try to satisfy and calm the masses that have been posting thread after thread. After all, they could not delete all of them.

This is my fault - I had the update scheduled for a grab bag a month ago, but at the time I was still fighting the decision and decided to pull it from the bag.
The simple fact is I was still hoping we'd get it until pretty recently. We had one of the server guys pull logs of how many people had filled all their slots on their main server. Then we cross-referenced with how many people had filled all the slots, but at least one slot had not been logged in for more than a year.
It came down to a) we were very, very unlikely to get the feature in unless we dropped something else, and b) it turned out that the percentage of customers who actively used all of their character slots was under 5% (I think). So in light of a), we dropped it for the time being.
And then I spaced. I remembered having it in a grab bag, and forgot that I'd pulled the question. I'm sorry, that's entirely my bad. |

There is of course a very simple explanation why relatively few people filled thier slots
I LIKE I EXPECT THE MAJORITY OF PLAYERS WANTED TO BE ABLE TO USE THE TOA CLIENT
and there is one slot that disappears from the catacombs client when u shift to the TOA client - quite obviously Mythic didn't realize this and just shows how much they are in touch with thier player base .

Yeah I was active in that thread too... but I also don't believe it. I am really hurt that they materially misrepresented their product, I bought it on that representation, and they failed to give that part of it. I don't care about a new dungeon, it just means I have to park a bot there now if I want to adventure in there... atleast they do give a "semi-safe" place to park one in there. Also the bind stone/healer was a nice idea, since you will probably die lots of times in there LOL
Oh and there is a way to disable the EA splash screen. There are steps listed on the VN's.

I was disappointed but not like utterly heartbroken, that wasn't the main reason for me getting the expansion just a minor addition.
